Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN)


Sejarah:
- ditubuhkan di bawah Akta Majlis Sukan Negara Malaysia 1971 dan Akta Majlis Sukan Negara
(pindaan 1979) 
- pelancarannya secara rasmi telah dilakukan oleh Y.A.B. Tun Abdul Razak b. Datuk Hussein
(21 Februari 1972)

Visi:
Peneraju sukan prestasi tinggi terunggul ke arah melahirkan lebih ramai atlet bertaraf dunia

Misi:
Memastikan program pembangunan sukan berprestasi tinggi dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh, sistematik dan berkesan di semua peringkat

Objektif:
- Mempertingkatkan prestasi pencapaian atlet ke tahap kecemerlangan dunia melalui pengurusan program latihan, khidmat sokongan dan hal ehwal atlet yang lebih efisien dan menyeluruh
- Memperkukuhkan struktur pembangunan kejurulatihan ke arah meningkatkan bilangan jurulatih yang berkelayakan
-  Memperkukuhkan struktur pembangunan dan penganjuran kejohanan-kejohanan sukan tempatan dan antarabangsa secara lebih efektif dan kompetitif
- Memperkukuh dan meningkatkan penyelarasan pentadbiran Organisasi Sukan (Persatuan) yang lebih efektif dan efisien
Mempertingkatkan prestasi pencapaian pembangunan kepegawaian teknikal dan pengurusan sukan prestasi tinggi yang lebih efisien.

Olympic Council Of M'sia(OCM) // Majlis Olimpik M'sia (MOM)


What is OCM?
- established a registered in 1953
- non-governmental and non-profit multi-sport national organization under the Societies Act 1966
(Revised 1987)

Objectives of OCM:
To develop and protect the Olympic Movement and to promote the fundamental principles of Olympism through sport activity and education
To be completely independent and autonomous and to resist all pressures of any kind, including those of a political, religions or economic nature.
To act as the co-ordinating body for all sporting organisation in Malaysia.
To promote and encourage the development of high performance sport and sport for all
To facilitate exchanges between the OCM and its members with other National Olympic Committee (NOCs) and IFs
To select and enter athletes for the Olympic, Asian, SEA and Commonwealth Games and world or regional multi-sports competitions
To organise Olympic, Asian, SEA and Commonwealth Games and world or regional multi-sports competitions

Roles of OCM:
To organise Olympic, Asian, SEA and Commonwealth Games and world or regional multi-sports competitions
Collaborate with the NSAs, government agencies, and IOC for the development and training of athletes, coaches, technical officials and sports administrators for competitive sports as well as sport for all
Collaborate with the NSAs in the preparation of athletes and officials to participate in the Olympic, Asian, SEA and Commonwealth Games
To raise funds in order to fulfill its objects and role
